26 March 2015: it's... 1993
« on: March 25, 2015, 02:57:55 PM »
I'll be shocked if it's not a '90s day (or late-80s at the very least)

Blanking on the TFF tune, but the Hiatt was Perfectly Good Guitar, not bad but not rare by any stretch.

Now we're hearing Belly, Feed the Tree. A personal fave, BOS1.

ETA: The TFF was Break It Down Again.

5. Dead Can Dance - The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove
6. The Cranberries - Linger

Points for DCD (tho' it's not a bustout) but "Linger" is yet another LN.

7. U2 - Faraway (So Close)

I've noticed the last day or two that AL is using news clips again, not just ads and movies. Me likey!

9. Juliana Hatfield - Sister

This and the Belly tune are my two BOSes so far. Coincidence?

Btw, my stream died in mid-UB40, so I didn't hear if there was a clip between #8 and 9.

Juliana Hatfield in the #9 slot with "My Sister" -- would be my BOS if I were listening.

And we close with Morphine.

My previous comment stands -- this was very like a set from the DC era, dominated by the overly-familiar with one or two exceptions.
