Rocky 2 --> "Got to Be Real".  BOS2 -- probably our only "Haaaay!" moment.

AL says Nick Lowe BOS. Which is why we'll continue to hear it in 50% of 1979 sets.

BOS JJ. lurve it.

HM to Gary Numan for his droning masterpiece, but couldn't we hear something else from that record?  like M.E. or  Metal?

and Flash & the Pan. "Hey St. Peter," STFU.   That song made me HATE that group.  Did a little more research and found they wrote and recorded "Walking In The Rain" in 1979, which was made a hit by Grace Jones.  How about THAT one next time?

lots of FFs though, as usual.  Then again, waah waah waah: It's commercial radio, I don't listen to it to hear new or rare stuff.

I guess "new music Thursdays" are wasted on you then...

On the infrequent occasions that I've tuned into Rosalie's Acoustic whatever, I usually hear
something that's new to me, and much of it strikes me as being decidely out of the mainstream,
if not an actual rarity.  (Sandy Denny with Fairport Convention covering Who Knows Where the
Time Goes?
, for example.)  She seems to have a degree of creative freedom, and it's a shame
that Annalisa doesn't get the same for 10@10.

Not really, because I never listen to KFOG outside of 10at10.  :-)   ok, I suppose they do play "new" stuff, but it's a pretty narrow focus overall, innit?    and Rosalie's ventures are the most unusual things heard on the station.
