That was a clever "beginning and ending the set with 'captain' songs" thing. I've referenced those two songs in conjunction with each other in my book; nice to see I'm not alone in conflating them in my mind.

oh-ho-ho: It ain't the summer of '75 without "Magic".

LNs: Twilley "I'm on Fire", BadCo "Feel Like makin Love", 10cc "I'm Not In Love", Doobs "Take Me In Your Arms", Iggles "One Of These Nights", and jeebus h christ its EJ "Someone saved etc". ANYTHING else from that LP woulda been som awesome.

LN1: Mr Palmer has a bad case.

Peak player being wonky today -- so of course it starts working just in time for the uber-uber-LN "My Sharona". Which is followed by "Cruel to Be Kind".  Jeebus.

BOS3 Kinks "Catch Me I'm Falling"

LN4: Cars, "Let's Go"  (Renee played "Best Friend's Girl" at 6:30 so I've had my Cars quotient for the week)

VHM: Trailer for The Frisco Kid.

VHM Neil "Hey Hey My My (into the Black)"

always a BOS for "Girl of My Dreams". I will never tire of this one.
