One of the many great things about AL... now one can determine in advance whether they want to listen or not! Without looking, I bet somebody's requested "Suicide Blonde" and "Birdhouse In Your Soul".

EDIT: We should have a new feature, SRW's bold choice of the day:

"Another Day In Paradise" I won't tell you the artist.

My 1990 wish-list -- one of the few years from which I didn't get ANY requests played by AL.

Thieves in the Temple (Prince)
Black cat / Escapade (Janet Jackson)
Mentirosa (Mellow Man Ace)
All Around The World (Lisa Stansfield)
Close to You (Maxi Priest)
Just a Friend (Biz Markie)
Friends in Low Places (Garth Brooks)
Electric Boogie (Marcia Griffiths)
Poison (Bel Biv Devoe)

RGMike, will you be making any of these requests?  ;)

I requested Biz Markie; I'm limiting myself to one per set, and most folks seem to be doing the same.  And I have a 10:00 meeting too, so I'll be missing this one.

I think AL indicated "a request", and so far people have been generally following that protocol, similar to what happens on "Connected". It's a nice compromise.

10:00 meeting cancelled, so I get to hear this one.

TANC: just before 10@10, we get... "Imagine"

TOTHLN: TMBG, "Istanbul/Constantinople"

I note that the Rock-n-Roll Roulette Wheel has been mothballed -- and nothing seems to have replaced it.

BOS from me... always a fun song, since I haven't heard it in a while.
Now I'm eight bits...

cockadoodie Misery --> cockadoodie Sinead. "Emperor's New Clothes" -- this is a very DC set so far, IMHO.

Copious notes update:

Petty = A Face in the Crowd (not bad, less heard than a number of songs from that period)

Cuts You Up = Peter Murphy  HM. Definitely of its time.

That is all.
Let's get right to it.
