one-word titles rule: "Laid", "Loser", "God", Today", "Cannonball".

and Rob closes his set by proving once again that Bjork sjucks.

ELO, Roxy, Leo's "Glasses" and Labelle's "Marmalade". Wir fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n auf der auto-bahn mit Kraftwerk as Phoebe Snow spouts "Poetry".

OMFG: Dylan's "Idiot Wind" gets an uber-BOS.

Christine McVie's rarity "Got a Hold On Me" makes its 2nd appearance of the week; Chrissie's got her pants behind her again; Dolby's hyperactive in my phones. BOS Echo's "Killing Moon".

Fri 2/4/11: 1967!

So you wanna be a 10@10 star? Call Rob. Eddie Floyd's "Raise Your Hand" (a Springsteen live fave) is the standout so far in a set with the Seeds and The Byrds.   OMG: BOS the E-Prunes.

BOS2 the Left Banke's "Pretty Ballerina".

BOS3 a long clip from Trek: Kirk meets Khan for the first time.

uber-BOS4: we marvel at the Marvelettes' "Hunter Gets captured" as Rob salutes the late Ms Horton.

and the set goes to 11! BOS5 the awesome Blues Magoos. 2 of my all-time-fave rock 45s (this and the Prunes) in one set!

Cute, playing this after "I'm a Believer": the song was purportedly written in a Monkees-fueled jealous fit.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
