« on: February 07, 2011, 07:37:22 AM »
Mon 2/7/11: 1992

"Tears" from TFF and Crapton; rarities from Lou Reed, Lightning Seeds and Social D.  WOS Genesis.

And we close with another rarity: Concrete Blonde, "Ghost of a Texas Ladies' man"

OOPS: the set is followed by Rob's backannounce from Friday's set.

statndard stuff, mostly ("Jet", "RnR Hootchie Koo", Joni, EJ and ELP. But kudos and BOS for Dylan's "On a Night Like This" and OMGWTF Eno's "Baby's on Fire".  VHM Morey fave "Star" by Stealer's Wheel (surprised AL didn't whip that out yesterday).

I think AL's played Baby's On Fire at least once. She digs her some Eno.  Which Joni was it? Assume it wasn't Free Man..., as you'd have commented on the TANC factor.
Let's get right to it.

Thur 9/10/11: 1971

McGuinness Flint's "When I'm Dead & Gone" gets a BOSFRA. Sorry I missed lennon's "Mother" and Wadsworth Mansion's OHW "Sweet Mary".

Least necessary oldie ever: "Me & Bobby McGee".

B&S take us one toke over the line, and Rob goes over the line (and the set goes to 11) with the horrible "D.O.A" by Bloodrock. WOS.

mucho mistrust: Rob gives us "Heart of Glass", Crapton, Police and the Babys so far.

BOS JJ, lookin' sharp.

BOS2 Third World, "Now That We Found Love".

VHM big-shot BJ and the people that he knew at Elaine's.

BOS3 EC, "Moods For Moderns"

I don't give a damn 'bout any trumpet-playin' band.

OMGWTFLOL: bustout of the week, Tonio K "Funky Western Civilization" !?!
