any '67 set that includes Phil Och's "Outside of a Small Circle of Friends" AND Fantastic Johnny C's "Boogaloo Down B'way" (as well as "Waterloo Sunset" and "2000 Light Years") and that climaxes with "Snoopy's Xmas" is one for the ages -- worth a listen on the replay.

Just listened to this and it's one of Rob's best in a long time. Especially the Phil Ochs, which I hadn't heard in ages. What a brilliant song.

Wed 12/15/10: 1979

Rob follows AL into the "Beyond" with the Nazi-est sound around from Madness.  And also duplicates "Bring on the Night", but no eclipse clips this time.

And Rob climaxes with the Buggles.

I was gonna post to say, what were the odds of getting either of those as a replay, much less both?  I for one hadn't heard "One Step Beyond" in several years.

Thur 12/16/10: 1996

hooray for the Cardigans. Otherwise, a snoozefest including STPs, DMB, REM, JCM, Wallflowers and Sideshow Bob.  Seasonal treat: Brian Setzer Orch doing a swingin' "Jingle Bells".

And Rob caps it all with No Doubt's "Don't Speak". Zzzzzzzzzzzzz...
