The Peak, 01/04/08: It's 1993
« on: January 04, 2008, 07:14:02 AM »
Two years ago on this date, my auto-fill tells me, the Peak did a birthday tribute to Michael Stipe.  Instead, we get an early BOS in U2's "Stay (Faraway, So Close)."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

wow, a Lemonheads song that isn't "Shame About Ray" -- BOS for rarity alone.

BOS2 to Jellyfish, "Joining a Fan Club," which my college radio station, WARC, played the hell out of.

I do believe this is new to me -- so BOS2. A *most* impressive '93 excursion so far, even the Crowded House wasn't an overplayed one.  Somebody record this tonite and send it to Dave.

Melbrucea Ethersteen -- first song that rates a "meh" from me.

Oh my yes.  Not recognizing Tune No. 10, though.

Dunno this Squeeze song either -- note that we've heard a number of Morey "usual suspects" doing UN-usual songs.
