21 December 2006--it's 1986
« on: December 21, 2006, 10:02:57 AM »
Leading off with Real Wild Child.

These classics seem to be getting gradually more recent in 2 or 3 year increments. From 77 (or was it 76?) to 81 to 84 to 86...

ETA: Forgot there was a 69 classic last week too--forget what I said about 2- or 3-year increments...
Let's get right to it.

is this the set where Dave plays Reagan's denials and then 2 songs later plays the clip of him admitting it's all true?

Nothing like a gay lead singer doing a line about something being "too hard to swallow"...

I've been barely able to pay any attention. Of course, last day before the holiday when everyone wants to leave early, one of our tools isn't working right. Arrrggghhh.

I love technology.

But BOS to Rat in Mi Kitchen.
Let's get right to it.

The worst thing about this overplayed Crowded House LP is, it's "legal" in both '86 and '87.

At least World Where You Live isn't quite as overplayed as DDIO or BBHS (from their second album). Wish he'd play Mean to Me once in awhile.
Let's get right to it.
