VHM "Breakfast In America" just because I suddenly realized there is another way to interpret the line "not much of a girlfriend, I never seem to get a lot."

I always heard it as "not much of a girlfriend, [but then again] I never seem to get a lot [of girlfriends]."

But now I heard it as "not much of a girlfriend, [because] I never seem to get a lot [of sex from her]."

that's funny, I've always had the 2nd interpretation, the first had never occurred to me!

LOL!  When that song came out I was an insecure 16-year-old who practically never had any girlfriends, so jsut getting a girlfriend was hard enough.  I'm sure it never occurred to me to complain about how much sex I might get from one if I had one that would deign to have sex with me in the first place.

Woo Hoo!!  BOS #4 Molly Hatchet!

I love the part where he adds "...and you are too baby!"

I counted about 15 posts on this & the Peak thread, so it was before that.

ETA:  Saturday night I commented that somewhere south of the border on Sunday we would turn 100,000 miles on our car & then we likewise missed it until we were up to about 100,040.

Proxy WOS for Gaz.  Our Mr. McCombs would make a terrible spy -- they'd just have to lock him in a room and play nonstop Southern Rock and he'd crack like an egg.
