BOS Violent Femmes.

Which song? The KFOG morning show played Blister in the Sun this morning because Irish Greg has a huge blister on his foot, as he ran the SF Marathon yesterday. Renee was attempting to pop it on the air, failed and eventually gave up the effort. Lots of discussion of "blister juice" and such.

Just the thing you want to hear while you're eating your breakfast, I tellya.
Let's get right to it.

It was pretty interesting to me, since I got a huge blister recently on the side of my big toe, thanks to some new shoes.  I looked up advice online, and there seemed to be the same split between pop it! and leave it alone, it's sterile! I left it alone, and it was OK, but now I have this big black oval spot on the side of my toe!  I guess it will all work out in the end.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!
