We begin with Macca's live version of "Maybe I'm Amazed", which was actually the Top 10 single the original woulda been -- had it been released as a 45.  One of the great chart injustices of all time, IMHO.

Worst Opening Line Ever nominee: "We've been together since way back when."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

"I Look at your face every day..."

There was a discussion of this song on the NYRMB just the other day, something on the order of "every oldies station that plays '70s has it in heavy rotation, yet I don't know anybody who actually likes the damn song."

I am, but I was too busy rehearsing my paper to chime in.  (With my latest edits, it clocked in at 19 minutes!  Hooray!)

3rd live LP of set: Frampton, of course. But at least it's "Lines on My Mirror, er, Face."
