Dead, "Helena Bucket". Another one I'd be happy to see retired for a while.

Agreed.  Everybody should play "Throwing Stones" instead for the rest of 2006.

Very nice segue from Patrick Swayze & Jennifer Grey into "Jane's Gettin' Serious".  Dramatically it was perfect.

not long after the song was a hit, the intro was used in a Heinz Ketchup commericial that ran for many months.

ETA: Thanks, Ginger, for proving I didn't imagine that.

BOS JCM, best of a (for me, anyway) snoozy lot so far.

I like this extra percussive mix of "True Faith", BOS #3 for me (after Radiators & JCM)

"True Faith" is the BOS, but I'm enjoying "Heartbreak Beat."  A couple years ago, an indie band called Feathermerchants did a lovely, breezy, almost alt-countryish take on the song, sounding more than a bit like Cowboy Junkies at their most uptempo.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

OMG! Super BOS to Mr Zevon, "Reconsider Me", from his great (and neglected) Sentimental Hygiene.  Kudos to Ginger for pulling this one out -- first time I've heard anything from this on commercial radio since it was released, probably.
