Ginger is so cool.

I told her Mike & Ali said hello & after thanking her for the Astral Weeks deep dip, I mentioned that I was the one who discovered her program back in August while driving around Rocky Mtn N.P. & turned y'all on to it.  She immediately said, "Well if you're the one I got to thank maybe I should send you a t-shirt or something.  Send me an email with your address."

Three other Ginger notes:  1) She commented on "you guys having some difficulty with the stream" & said that she had brought this to the attention of the tech guys at the station.  I said I had no trouble today.  
2) She said that she doesn't always check our commentary, but usually does & appreciates all of our comments: "I take the good with the bad."

3) She apologized in advance for going on hiatus the next to weeks while they do their A-Z.  I said I plan to listen as much as I reasonably can just to see what pops up.

ETA: She specificaly mentioned yesterday's streaming problems, which proves she's been checking in.

actually it's one of the Four Tops' lost gems, which the Band covered.


And upon looking it up on AMG, I found out that it was cowritten by Ivy Hunter and....Stevie Wonder!! Who knew?!?!?
