I was about to VHM with a comment about cheeze for breakfast. But I'll join you in a BOS. Between the REO and this I'm feeling Midwestern all of a sudden.

proxy of cairo for Mr McD & the DBs, "MBM".

And another BOS from me for Heart's "Straight On". I love this period of their career.

I have to give WOS to the Doobs.  Dude, it's yacht rock!

P.S.  This week's Voice music section is prog-heavy, including a review of several Gentle Giant reissues, if anyone's interested.

Yacht Rock has made the big time -- there's a full-page story in the Jan issue of Spin abouth that series of internet shorts.

wow, this really IS a CorpRock-laden set.  Now Foreigner makes an appearance.

Gentle Giant -- now there was a worthless band.  Do they mention their connection to evil radio consuktants Burkhart & Abrams?

BOSS BOS for "Fi-Yuh."  What a great production and arrangement.  Richard Perry?

either Abrams or Burkhart (I'll have to Google this) produced some of their later LPs, thinking he'd get the stations he consulted to play them and turn them into big stars. But they were as dreaful as their previous albums, and the plan failed.

BTW that was an unwittingly clever typo on my part: "consuktants". LOL!
