Tue 2/10/15: Feb 1976
Frampton, Marley, Lou Reed and Carole King
Wow, this set starts with a double whammy: EJ "Feel Like a Bullet/Robert Ford" and then Dylan "Black Diamond Bay".
of course song 3 is "Show Me the Way" but ya can't have everything.
but here's some not-overexposed Marley, "Trenchtown Rock"
Ms King arrives with the little-heard-since-'76 "Only Love is Real"
Sweet Lou, "Charley's Girl". I'm gobsmacked: 6 songs so far and 5 are serious rarities.
our 2nd LN: "Squeeze Box".
Taxi Driver "You talkin' to ME??" --> Bowie "Stay". Funny I didn't know that movie opened in Feb -- I didn't catch up with it until summer. And while the Bowie tune is a KFOG 10@10 mainstay (heh) it rarely shows up on regular radio -- Classic Rock is far more fond of "Fame" and "Golden Years" from that period.
BadCo, "Silver Blue & Gold" -- proxy of mshray! Wait -- only 9 songs? WTF??
