Some like a 'trina.

(sorry, this set's been so enjoyable I haven't had much to be snarky about)

BOS Power Station, just to get RG Mike snarky.

Although, she should play "Get It On (Bang A Gong)" or "Communication" once in awhile.

"One Night In Bangkok" - from a movie that never was. Now, THAT would be an impressive 10@10!

Glad I missed the Aha song - doing actual work.

Murray gives good Head.

Never too much, will never be.

And Whitney and her mother covered another Chess song ("I Know Him So Well") on Whitney's first album.

I guess a variation on a theme would be "songs played in a movie that weren't on the actual soundtrack". It would be the about the only way we'd hear Remy Zero's "Prophecy", from "She's All That" (yes, I did see that).

8/29/11-Monday brings a Mystery year... (1985)

 1.  Huey Lewis & The News- Back In Time
(Movie: Back To The Future)
 2.  Yello- Oh Yeah
(Movie: Weird Science)
 3.  Oingo Boingo- Weird Science
 4.  Eurythmics w/Aretha -Sisters Are Doing It ForThemselves!
(Ad: Cabbage Patch Kids twins!)
 5.  Prefab Sprout- When Love Breaks Down (B.O.S!)
(News: PMRC- Parents Music Resource Council-Frank Zappa)
 6.  David Bowie/Pat Metheny- This Is Not America
(News: PMRC-record warning labels-Frank)
 7.  A-ha- Take On Me
(News: PMRC/Frank on censorship)
 8.  Shriekback- Nemesis
 9.  Power Station- Some Like It Hot
10. Murray Head- One Night On Bangkok

Gotta say that overall this was a fine set -- no bustouts, but (love it or hate it) the Huey tune was a def rarity. I mean, it's not like she trotted out "Walking on Sunshine".
