It appears Sandra Ramirez is a bit disappointment - who says progress can't happen?
I don't understand this at all. What is it about?

She's a FB Foghead whose tastes are often... pedestrian.  Some of us do double duty, posting in both places simultaneously.
Ahhhh, got it. I googled her and she isn't, um, disappointing at all ;-)

No "praise" for this pedestrian set.

I used to like SNTR's "Kiss Me," until realizing they didn't have another song in them.
Is SNTR a name or an acronym?

I didn't feel like typing out "Sixpence None the Richer."

remember their "Don't Dream It's Over" cover that was pulled from KFOG after, like, one play?  I've never heard Fogheads so upset (well, until recently).

I did like "Breathe Your Name" off of the same album, but I don't believe KFOG touched that.

"Murder (Or A Heart Attack)" - one of the best cat songs around! And currently in my iPOD lineup - there needs to be a term for that.

FWIW (from http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/41652/)

Rated +1  Rhett Miller was actually at the time my uncle's roommate when they lived in LA. My uncle had a cat whom he was insanely obsessed with. The cat was his best friend basically. So my uncle was out touring with a band and Rhett accidentally let the cat get out.
This is why he was so frantically searching for the cat. And when he says "leaving myself open to a murder or a heart attack" it meant my uncle was either going to kill him or he was going to have a heart attack from being so nervous about losing the cat.

It was really cool growing up knowing Rhett. Haven't seen him in years but my uncle is actually on their tour with them as i leave this comment. which is pretty cool.

The set wasn't that bad, except for Kiss Me.  BOS/Len, VHM/Euphoria.

Way too many frequent fliers for a year we haven't been to that many times, though.  The Travis song never needs to be played on 10@10 again.  She played Loudon Wainwright as the actual first song of the first 1999 set.  This set was awfully similar to this set:

3/31/10 A Mystery Year this Wednesday*

 1.  The Old 97's- Murder (Or A Heart Attack) (B.O.S tie!)
 2.  Guster- Barrel Of A Gun
 3.  Travis- Why Does It Always Rain On Me
(News: Tony Blair/ Ireland)
 4.  Collective Soul- Run
 5.  Pretenders- Pop Star
(Movie: Office Space)
 6.  Ben Harper- Burn To Shine
 7.  Moby- Porcelain (B.O.S tie!!)
(TV: Jon Stewart on Bill and Hill news)
 8.  Filter- Take A Picture
 9.  Sting- Brand New Day
(TV: Ted Danson in Becker)
10. Santana feat Dave Matthews- Love Of My Life
* Yes indeed...you got it! The Big hits of... 1999!

As was often the case when Dave was in the driver's seat, the more recent the year, the smaller the pool of songs he seemed to draw from.
Let's get right to it.
