Wed 5/11/11: 1967

Little Stevie (the white one) is so glad we made it.

BOS Byrds back pages. But sheesh, I never need to hear "Light My Fire" again.

Bob does his playing-"Get Together"-in-its-orig-year-of release thang, as is his wont.

BOS2 Psychedelic Pstones.

BOS3 Ree-Ree, just a link in yo' chain.

"White Rabbit"  -- figures this would be the one duplicate from AL's set yesterday.  ::)  And the Fab Four take us down.  "I'm... very... bored..." indeed.

But uber-BOS4 the pre-fab four, waking me up with "Stepping Stone".

dear lord, "Happy Together" too? What consultant programmed this set?

Spencer Davis Group - Gimme Some Lovin'
Byrds - My Back Pages
Doors - Light My Fire
Youngbloods - Get Together
Rolling Stones - Dandelion
Aretha Franklin - Chain of Fools
Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever
Monkees - Stepping Stone
Turtles - Happy Together

the Guess Who's "Star Baby" makes an interesting TOTHK, at least. VHM.

OTOH, coulda done without "Dreamer". Can I put my hands in my head? Er... no.

WOS Buckwheat Crapton. "Mainline Florida? Oh-TAY!"

The Iggles appear with the #1 single that changed their lives forever.

Aerosmith's train keeps on rollin'. And Carl Douglas keeps on grunting. VHM for cheeze factor.  But Woo Hoo! BOS "Ride the Tiger" -- woulda been a cute segue from "KFF" to "RTT" had the Godfather 2 montage not come in between.

BOS2 Frampton's orig studio version of "Something's Happening".

VHM BadCo, rockin' steady; VHM Mr Lightfoot rockin' down the (carefree) highway.

Guess Who - Star Baby
Supertramp - Dreamer
Eric Clapton - Mainline Florida
Eagles - Best of My Love
Aerosmith - Train Kept a Rollin'
Carl Douglas - Kung Foo Fighting
Jefferson Starship - Ride the Tiger
Peter Frampton - Something's Happening
Bad Company - Rock Steady
Gordon Lightfoot - Carefree Highway

WOS "Smuggler's Blues"; VHM "Boys of Summer", tho' it's approaching never-need-to-hear-again status for me.

ay-oh-way-to-go-O-HI-O! BOS Pretenders.

WOS2 Bryan Adams "Run to You" -- how does a guy with bad skin get to have 2 girlfriends??

BOS2 Mr Buckingham, going insane.
