Damn, wish I hadn't missed this one:

Elton John    Border Song
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young    Ohio
Mick Jagger    Memo From Turner
Carole King    You've Got a Friend
Fleetwood Mac    Oh Well Part 1
Norman Greenbaum    Spirit In The Sky
Allman Brothers Band    Midnight Rider
King Floyd    Groove Me
George Harrison    My Sweet Lord (single mix)
Quicksilver Messenger Service    Fresh Air
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

I dunno; nothing really unusual there except the Jagger.  And I've said it before, but: I have no memory of Tapestry being a late-1970 release; "It's Too late" didn't chart as a single until the Spring, and then the LP exploded -- nobody thibks of it as a 1970 album.
