well hello, Mr Shaggy Dog.

Actually that film came out in 1959 -- was it re-released in '67?

You need a little bit o' soul to see you thru!  But I thought sure we'd get the Cryin' Shames after that vintage (and new to me) commercial.

I was happy to have missed "Sugar and Spice."  But not so keen on getting "Dear Mr. Fantasy" in its stead -- "make it snappy" is a horrid line.

My MP3 player had "Sugar & Spice" this morning as I was driving in.

"What number is this, chap?"
"SEVEN-A."
"OK, man, don't get excited ... It's cuz I'm short, I know."

What you have above is the way it was done on the TV show (they walk up to an apartment door, "7-A", har har).  But on the record he's saying "what number is this, Chip?" (as in producer Chip Douglas). And he's "sure", not "short".
