I'm embarrassed that I never knew the title of that Dead song till now.

That Lennon/Simon/etc clip was new to me, too.  Wow!

Yes, Ginger: a track from Blood on the Tracks IS a must-do.  Thanks for asking.

Hey, we thought you were going to the KFOG remote at the Little Fox this am--what happened? Was hoping you could give us a play by play of the panic when their equipment went all ferkakt.
Let's get right to it.

No panic but Greg was very apologetic. What happened on air?
Show was fun, had a great time. Was it on air till about 8am? I

They were on the air at 7:45 or so as Peter did the news, but I recall a few dropouts in the sound here and there. Don't recall if they were on after that, and then about 10 after 8 Dave came on via Greg's cell and says that they blew up some piece of equipment, so he and Renee were gonna drive back to SF to finish the show at 55 Hawthorne. They went back to music, and I caught the end of something else a little later that sounded like it was via the phone, but there were major dropouts there too (didn't recognize the voice--it was a woman, not Peter or Greg). They got back to the studio and on the air about the time I got to work--about 9:10. (See the KFOG thread over in Stream of consciousness.)

I feel bad for any of the local artists that got down there early and were supposed to play during the 8 or 9 o'clock hours and got aced out.
Let's get right to it.
