but I don't feel like makin' love.  Patti's "Gloria" is always weird to hear at 10 a.m., too.

Well, I'm sorry to have missed Patti -- another of her ouevre that Dave's never played.

Assuming it was BadCo's "Feel Like makin'..." and not the Millie Jackson cover?

I didn't realize MJ had covered it, but no, it was Bad Co.

A lukewarm BOS vote to "Sister Golden Hair."  Not sure what I wanted to hear today, though.

P.S.  Is it proof of insanity that I was just imagining R.E.M. covering this song?

I can totally imagine Mr Stipe singing SGH.

proxy BOS's to Mr Beck's "Cause We've Ended..." and the Mighty Zep for Rockin' Rod. Are you dizzy when yer stoned?

LOVE this super-serious commercial for Tommy, the movie.

Just looked at the recently played -- DAMN, I missed FMac's "Blue Letter", the one you never hear, and one Linda Ronstadt shoulda covered.

WOS to "Be-Bop-A-Lula," my lack of appreciation for pre-Beatles rock, for ya.

"Tonight's the Night" was this late?!

See, going over your posts I was also kinda lukewarm on this set until this last.  All I can say is:

OMG, I missed a clip from A Boy & His Dog!

AB&HD was one of my fave sci-fi stories (or maybe it was a novella) in High School -- I was a HUGE Harlan Ellison fan. The movie is some kind of cheezeball classic, hamstrung by its small budget, IMHO. I  thought at the time I read it ('twas the era of Fritz the Cat) that it woulda made a GREAT Ralph Bakshi-esque cartoon.
