Never noticed that Lou Rawls/Jimmy Hoffa clip before. "You'll never find... James R Hoffa". Cute.

VHM EJ, "Capt. Fantastic", his "all-time biggest seller" according to Bob. So... name another song from it besides the title track or "Someone Saved My Life Tonite".  Frankly, I can't.  Those are the only 2 songs that get even sporadic airplay these days.

I've actually been listening to this album a lot in recent months.  "Bitter Fingers" is the one that nails me to the wall, but the whole album is solid, arguably a more "consistent" listen than the kitchen-sink of GYBR.  And I have the reissue with bonus tracks including the lovely ephemera "One Day at a Time" (written by Lennon).  You're right about the lack of radio singles, though.

I'll have to haul out my vinyl.  Of course, in those olden times, no more than 2 or 3 singles from an LP was the rule (which F.Mac would smash with Rumors).  And EJ was churning out so much stuff that by the time one single had run its course, he had another whole LP ready for release.
