Austin is known as the music capitol of the World, Bob's home, and where Whole Foods Market
was born. Bob explains there's a lot to be proud of here in Austin. I mean, it was voted number
one best place to live in 2017, just sayin.

Bob Explains His 1994: Life's Like a BOBFM, You never know what you're gonna get!

Run, Forrest! Run! Bob must admit that Forrest Gump is one of his favorite films. That
infamous line-"Momma said, life's like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're
gonna get!"- it really struck a chord with Bob. It made sense to him the idea that you
just never know what can happen next.  A lot like BOBFM, cause, We Play Anything!

Bob Explains His 1987: SXSW

Held in March of 1987, the first SXSW event was held in Austin, where it was born and raised.
Bob explains that SXSW has become the melting pot festival for artists in tech, music, film,
comedy, and even gaming. It is a week long of conferences everyday, all day, all over Austin.
This year is bound to be absolutely epic! South By starts March 9 and goes until March 18th.
Get ready for the Pre-Spring Olympics of Traffic!

1979 Nickelodeon launched with a promise to provide the best entertainment for children on
cable television. Bob explains that cartoons were never actually meant for children, they were
meant for the parents. Anything that can calm the children down; it was invented for the parents.
