of all the Carpenter's songs for Dave to play, he picks "Bless the Beasts & Children"???

WOS.  I have a soft spot for the Carpenters, but this isn't working for me.

that is almost verbatim what I just emailed Dave!

I was the best man in friend's wedding back in the day, and he had worked with the defense team for Ellsburg, so as a thank you gift, he gave the people in the wedding party autographed copies (paperback) of the Pentagon Papers. It seemed like a cheap thing at the time, but perhaps not?

Autographed by Ellsberg? If you still have it, it's worth something.

when did Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion" become the new "Killer Queen"? Damn they play it a lot.

I know!  I went out to get some breakfast when it came on, and on the way was wondering when it became such a "classic."  It's no "Train Kept a Rollin'," that's for sure.

When I was in NYC in Nov (I may have mentioned this before), the classic rocker there, Q-104, played it Every. Single. Time. I tuned them in. So it must be on some master list of songs that "test well".

Damn, this wrong-year thing is contagious!

Maybe both Dave and Bob throw in a wrong-year song now and then just to see who's paying attention.

Although Dave's been abusing the privilege, hasn't he?  :)

I remember calling Dave way-back-when, not long after I'd first discovered 10@10, and pointing out that Elton's "Captain Fantastic" was from '75 and not '77, and he said it had been incorrectly entered as a '77 song in the database.  More often, I think, the errors come when he simply cues up the wrong track on a greatest-hits CD.

a bit of prog heaven: Kansas' "Miracles Out Of Nowhere"

I don't think I've ever heard that one.  But the title's certainly consistent with their oevre -- surely they're planning a major US comeback under the aegis of Pat Robertson?

Suite Judy Mondegreen...

"Can I tell it like its
And listen to the butler"

several lyric sites show it as "but listen to me baby" but it sounds nothing like that. WTF?

BOS Zombies commercial! ROTFL!
