uuuh... I will BOS 3.5 for Foreigner.  Lou Gramm is from my hometown (Rochester NY) so they always get some props, even for their dreckiest of moments, sorta like this one.

And this Police LP too!

For years I had no idea what this cover was all about - then someone told me it was supposed to be the three Police men.

same here, Gazoo.  now can you tell me which is which?

cronkite BOS2

KQED played some Stevie Nicks concert this past Sat night.  it was so dreadful.  She was flat and, of course, bleaty.
At least she had Waddy Wachtel as her musical director/lead axeman.

VHM Stones.

Not a Police fan.
I wasn't then, which was too bad, since they were huge in '81, my freshman year at Stanford.  I like them much better now.

I saw them in the Syracuse Carrier dome for this album's tour.   I think they had a horn section..

but my fave is prob Zenyatta Mondatta.  <-- edited my typo

Love the one yer with -- esp if her name is Scarlett Jo.  VHM Mr Stills -- I still(s) prefer the Isley's cover.

ETA: what did Stephen Stills know about "fisting gloves"??

what the...?

is that the lyric or a mondegreen?    "Glove the one you're with" indeed.

good set.  my first time w "The Drive"

And now Stills with a song for you ... and you ... and you in the blouse ... and you with the nice rack ...

Stills' trying to get some action wherever he can find it, dig the groove,

Hoo Lawd!  BOS5 PG&E! Ah am READY!

ha!  I don't  know this song, so when I read "PG&E" I thought, "oh man - what's THAT acronym mean?" turns out it means what I think it means. Sometimes Mike's shorthand isn't shorthand at all.

But what a good song..  I know I've heard it before, but they just don't make them like that any more. ... Well, I'm sure they make them, but you have to go to church to hear them or tune into some gospel stations.

7993
wow, you guys use a lot of acronyms and abbreviations....

ok, traffic jam!

Art Garfunkel at the height of his powers is good stuff!
