So far, I am happy to say this set has far exceeded my expectations.

Ditto. I was expecting a lot of "One Moment in Time" kinda crap. or "Man in Motion" (which may yet appear, I suppose).

Instead we get...Dude! It's prog rock!

"Rocky" -- also inevitable, but less great to hear.

And it gets worse with "Chariots of Fire".

for shame!  Vangelis rules.

Not *that* song! I've never been able to stomach it.

Muse's "official" (?) Olympics theme : "Survival". Sorry, I'm not impressed. Sounds like a rejected Bond theme.

Haha!

For all I know this meme has been around forever, but it was NTM: just came across someone using the expression "population pudding", a slang term for, er...  well another expression would be "pearl jam".   LOL!

Haha!

I'll give a BOS for this NTM Sugarcubes tune.

Hey, no fair making invisible edits. That definitely said "Cranberries" before when I read it.

Stand up and accept that you're wrong!  ;-)

Bjork WISHES she could sing like the Cranberries chick.

You're so evil. :)

Haha, I admit nothing!

OK, OK, I searched on the lyrics. It's a little embarrassing to mistake Bjork for Dolores. I knew it didn't sound quite right...

:)

Don't know what this kinda clamorous pop number is, but at least it's NTM.

Sugarcubes - "Hit"!

I'd like to see a song that mixes this "oooo bop" with "mmmm bop"

That's a great challenge! For someone... :)

The Oscar-winning actress was 94. This piece is a nice remembrance

That *is* a great piece. Thanks for posting!

This is going badly -- a Peter Frampton appearance would actually improve it.

Oh, no. We're going to need something a helluva lot groovier than that.
