Re Bull Durham, Ron Shelton is an overrated hack.

Mighty Lemon Drops "Inside Out" -- a rarity, for sure. BOS1FRA.

Thur 1/22/15: Jan 1985

always hate to miss a Peak '70s set.
The Who "Substitute"
ETA: And we're already at tune number ten -- will we get a bonus or a treat during the backsell?
I guess the Batman theme will have to suffice. Stone, Who and Beatles were all represented -- alas, the Kinks get short shrift.
BOS to the Stones, but only if I am limited to one song. Otherwise it was a 10-way tie.
Back-to-back heavy psychedelia on The Bone (key word for today's Hot Lunch is insects): Helter Skelter and In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (key word relates to the band names here, of course). This In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida has been going on for a while. I think the Weed Man is going to roll the entire 17:05 album version. If folks at corporate HQ are listening, I'm sure they're pleased.
Pat Monahan of Train sang the national anthem a cappella before the AFC Championship Game. His voice is really strong, which I hadn't noticed before.
It's been said that as long as he doesn't write the songs, he ain't half bad.
