Listening to KPOO's Motown Special, Part 2 -- they just played that wonderful Tammi Terrell version of Stevie Wonder's "All I Do (Is Think About You)", which I first heard recently on The Boardwalk. Stevie recorded it on Hotter Than July in 1980, but Tammi did it in 1966 (Stevie was just 16 when he wrote it for her!) and her version never went anywhere.

oo! JJ plays the Dionne Warwick version of "Wishin' & Hopin'" -- quite similar to Dusty's take.

DAY-um! Radio de Sebb plays Stevie Wonder's "Front Line", which I probably haven't heard since '82. (it was one of the "new" tracks on the Musiquarium compilation)
Followed by the Haywoods (NOT the Bo Donaldson outfit) doing a note-for-note cover of "Boogie Oogie Oogie" -- why?
and Al Green doing *anything* is fab, but his cover of "Pretty Woman" is NTM and does not disappoint.

sampling KCDX today -- Klaatu's "Sell Out Sell Out" is one I haven't heard since its release.
