Cimarron's got James Taylor on the stereo. Which, sorry guys, doesn't rhyme with "Mario".

TANC -- It's a Gaz-fave twin-spin: Orpheus' orig "Can't Find the Time", ba-da-da-da-da-da-dah!

In Pittsburgh it most certainly does.  I have a second cousin Mario who pronounces it that way.

Shady as a lady in a moustache: Little Sister's *other* hit, "Somebody's Watchin' You", on Offshore. "The higher the price, the nicer the nice".

NTM: The Bedrocks (who?) doing yet another Jamaican-inflected cover of "Ob-la-Di, Ob-la-Da". Does life go on over your bra or under your bra?  Guess Desmond would know.

and also NTM: Glen Campbell covering Gordon Lightfoot's lovely "The Last Time I Saw Her", a prog-FM fave of mine from the early '70s.

WTF?? The Swinging Blue Jeans covering "Don't Make Me Over", turning a proto-feminist anthem into just another boy-in-love plaint.

Ooh, a favorite.  And the first chart record to use an electronic drum machine.

Spirit's "Fresh Garbage" sounds a bit odd in the midst of Offshore's plethora of cheezy BritPop, but it's welcome nonetheless.

Magic 98's "Saturday at the '70s" is having a OHW day -- not just 2 or 3 OHWS an hour, but pretty much all OHWs all the time. Gun Hill Road and Wadsworth Mansion just made appearances. Fab stuff.

OMGWTF! Barry Scott pulls out that rarity-of-rarities, The Tourists (aka Dave Stewart & Annie Lennox) doing a synth-pop cover of "I Only Wanna Be With You", one of my favorite versions of the tune (sure beats the Bay City Rollers take). I have this on one of my early-NewWave mixtapes (a friend actually owned the LP) but haven't heard it on the radio in years. "Now listen, honey!"
