the Monarch of Monaco and the award-winng author were 82 and 89, respectively.

Just found out about Bellow, one of my favorite authors.  And by "award-winning", we should point out that one of the awards was the Nobel.  My favorite Bellow novel is probably Henderson The Rain King.

Very sad, but he lived long and wrote well.
