Oh hell yeah.  For the first couple of days after the accident, all the news stories focused on the fact that the passenger in the car was a MTF tranny. Then suddenly word got out that Teddy would never walk again... and the tranny was (conveniently) forgotten.  Which is why I was always suspicious about the real extent of Teddy's injuries. Of course 25 years later he's still in a wheelchair, and nobody would carry a charade that far -- would they?

maybe it wasn't true, and they decided to stop picking on him. or maybe it was true, and they decided to stop picking on him. or maybe the tranny was a kennedy.

one of my 2 or 3 fave Elvis LPs -- his rock'n'roll dance party album. Utterly fab.
