oooohhh Soul Patrol to boot!
-
Nice Dave. It's a Family Affair.
-
A touching story, but 11 at 10? It just isn't done, I tell ya.
-
A very touching request. Dead dads rule on 10@10! "Family Affair" -- most appropriate.

Break or bend the rules is one of my mottos.

Yeah, it is. Once in awhile Dave slips one in without mentioning it in the backsell, hoping no one will notice.

Right on, sistah!
BOS Teddy, although SP by definition is a 10-way (11-way?) tie.

Well, yeah. True enough. And it looks like it could be 11 great ones. Ya can't have too much soul. "I'm so glad that I got some soul!" (Anybody name that one? Or the group anyway? Not sure I remember the name myself...)

Hey Dave, Stanford band benched yet again. And for the Cal game. !? Wacky kids.
Do they play at the basketball games? My son went to a Stanford basketball game last weekend and talked about the funny band.

The Cal men's Octet (aka the Future Gay Men's Chorus Members) were on KFOG for their annual Big Game visit, singing about the "fuzzy wuzzy golden bear".

Ooh, I hadn't heard that. That stinks, bigtime. Though going to Berkeley for Big Game always sucked anyway. Especially when you're gonna get creamed. They do play at basketball games, at least when they aren't banned.

Good reasons not to listen to KFrOG except for 10at10. I considered tuning in just so I could get angry. But I get enough aggravation trying to get my kids up in the morning.
BOS for Stevie and The Staple Singers. Great stuff.

Only a fool believes that he's so shy.

This annoyed me in 80/81 and still doesn't do much for me.

It has to be an 11-way tie.

BONUS TRACK: Rufus - Tell Me Something Good
technically, the Bonus should've been from '82 (to continue the VT). Guess Rosalie couldn't think of 3 R&B hits from that year...

Neither can Dave, which is why the VT by necessity had to end there.

Man, I hadn't caught up with this thread until the set actually came on. What a cool & touching email (and that has to have been the longest thing I've ever heard Dave read). 11-way tie for sure, but special place in my heart for the Spinners.
