Nearly belated birthday wishes, dear Alicat! Hope you had a great time out in the Pacific, and were able to avoid the two dreaded afflictions of island visitors: sunburn and hangovers. Can we assume the girlie sporting the mask and regulator is yourself?

Thanks all. Yes that's me checking out the fish at Molokini. I snorkeled at other locations. It's like dipping yourself into an aquarium. Swam near a small sea turtle too. I totally avoided sunburn by slathering on spf 50 regularly and drank just enough rum and beer to keep me happy. A week wasn't long enough.

Molokini was fun, but it was kind of a cold day when we went, right after xmas a couple of years ago. But boy, how cool to swim amongst all those fish!

McAfee Coliseum. TANC: I just saw the Simpsons ep where Ludacris stars in a hip-hop-themed dental hygiene film as "Luda-Crest".

That would be dandy but Senor Vizquel does the salsa. He's been known to frequent a local joint on Sundays post game. I went to the place once but left early. Thursday Sept 4 there's a benefit wine/cheese reception and a showing of Omar's artwork. Not going :-\
