From KFOG's FB Page:
Good Morning 10@10 fans, I needed the morning off so today's 10@10 is an encore performance. 1985 is the year... Woot!

The Sound is doing 1969. Sadly their player doesn't work on my rickety old work PC.

This "classic" dates back to November 21st.

Looks like this one:
1. Mick Jagger and David Bowie - Dancing In The Streets
(TV: 227, Family Ties, Cheers theme songs)
2. Dream Academy - Life In A Northern Town
3. Prince - Raspberry Beret
4. Eurythmics ft. Aretha Franklin - Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves
(Movie: Breakfast Club - Screws fall out, the world's an imperfect place)
5. Simple Minds - Don't You Forget About Me
6. OMD - So In Love
7. The Waterboys - The Whole Of The Moon
(News: Schultz/Reagan/Russians/Star Wars)
8. Mike and the Mechanics - Silent Running
9. ABC - Be Near Me
10. Stevie Nicks - Talk To Me
-
Oy, we begin, hellishly, with Bowie/Jagger and the gayest video evah.. This appears to be from November.
the TOTHK aside (and the Goat as closer), not a bad set, actually.

I do enjoy tracks 5-10 and I semi-like 1-4 but find them depressing for various reasons. But for the price I'd rather hear an AL Classic.

And it's funny because AL also did an '85 set that started with Jagger/Bowie. They could easily take the 10 songs/clips from one of hers and bookend with a new RR intro & outro and few Fogheads besides us would notice that the musical choices were better.

I truly never tire of "Whole of the Moon".
Ditto "Be Near Me", which shows up quite frequently on Kiss-FM these days.
-
Post-set song: the much-heralded Daft Punk. Sounding like this year's answer to Gnarls Barkley's Crazy. Which means we'll be sick to death of it by mid-June.

Definitely a "The Song of the Summer of '13" contender. Already the #1 single in the UK. Catchy as hell, but yeah, destined for serious burn-out.

10. Stevie Nicks - Talk To Me
Would much rather have heard Fiona. Same title, same year, but a very different (and
better) song.
