I suspect I.E. Tim's prediction of 2002 may be dead-on. But it's also Int'l Women's Day and 10 songs by/about women would sure be swell.
ETA: well, it's 1990 instead. Meh.

If my eyes aren't failing me, we haven't had a 2000+ 10@10 since 1/25's 2001. I wonder if the "braintrust" realized those sets were too recent.

I'm sticking with 2NG -- this 1975 chart is full of OMGWTF oddities and rarities (Telly Savalas at #1, covering Bread's "If" -- I kid you not). Let me know if one of our requests gets played, kids.

Iggy Pop, Depeche Mode, Blooz Traveler, John Hiatt, Charlatans UK. Other than The Charlatans: MEH!

giving some VHM to UB40, waiting for the LN slams

INXS...shocker, I know!

There are many positive aspects of the recording of Suicide Blonde, but I'd always found it grating.

The song that made AB block me on FB! I minus oned his request for that and apparently he took it extremely personally.
Mind you, I like the song, but yeah, LN.

Lol.
In general I don't love UB40, but afaik this one has only one previous spin, not quite an LN.
Though by this point, LN's have becoming such a recurring theme that they're almost not worth mentioning anymore.

as stale as epic fail?
;D :D :)

I'm assuming the UB40 in question is "The Way You Do The Things You Do". Yeah, maybe not technically an LN, more of a "HN" (hardly necessary). The definition might be "not overly played, but doesn't really add anything".

Shake that tree!

4. The Charlatans UK - The Only One I Know
I remember requesting this one maybe a year and a half ago and being pleased when it was played, but it seems like it's been on several times since.

I liked 3/4 of the first tracks (DM overplayed, how about another track from them?) and Peter Gabriel was a good closer. Rest in the middle was pretty painful.
