Joan Jett's "Do You Wanna Touch" makes another appearance.

OMFG! Crazy Joe & the Variable Speed Band, "Eugene"!! uber-BOS4. "I'm a cool dude in a loose mood"

no Valentine's set, but a love letter to '67: Airplane ("My Best Friend"), Beatles, Laura Nyro, Buf Spgfld, a Kinks rarity ("Too Much on My Mind"), Doors, Eddie Floyd ("Raise Your Hand", a Springsteen fave), Seeds, Rascals, Stones and the Spoonful. Def gonna catch this one tonite.  And yes, it went to 11.

ETA: enjoying this one immensely on the replay. The Kinks tune was NTM (a B-side, apparently, as is this swell Rascals tune, "What is the Reason?").

Mick, Simple Minds, Smiths, Fogerty, TFF, Henlty, HoJo, Brooooce -- standard stuff.

WOS the Firm.

I didn't know that: "Don't You Forget About Me" was turned down by Billy idol, Bryan Ferry and the Fixx before Simple Minds were forced to to it by their label.

I hadn't heard that -- Rob just told the story as outlined above. Quite possible, tho'.

Thur 2/16/12: (Jan. of) 1973!

Broooce, Moodies, EJ drinks some wine, Marley stirs it up, Free find a "Wishing Well" (BOSFRA), the Dan do it again, the O'Jays ride that train, y'all.  And Roberta lets that guy get in her head with his damn song (BOS2).

Seger turns the page in its orig studio version -- some nice piano on this that the live version lacks, so BOS3.

VHM Fogerty's "Jambalaya"
