Title: Austin "Bob" week of 1/2/12
Post by: RGMike on January 03, 2012, 09:33:46 AM
But first I had to post last Friday's set-list: a tribute to people who died, died in 2011:

Ashford & Simpson -Solid  (Nick Ashford)
Bruce Springsteen -Born To Run  (Clarence Clemons)
Warrant -Heaven  (Janie Lane)
Andrea True Connection -More, More, More (Andrea True)
America -A Horse With No Name  (Dan Peek)
Gerry Rafferty -Baker Street
Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch -Good Vibrations (Loleatta Holloway)
Dobie Gray -Drift Away
Amy Winehouse -Rehab

nicely played.

When In Rome -The Promise
Terence Trent D'Arby -Sign Your Name
Def Leppard -Pour Some Sugar On Me
Rod Stewart -Forever Young

(would that AL's set today contains a few pop bustouts)

Raydio/Ray Parker Jr -You Can't Change That

Come on now. AL would only fill about half the set with this type of number. The other half is generally more interesting.

with the possible exception of Arrested D (which Dave actually played once, iirc) I believe AL has played #s 2 thru 9 in one 1993 set or another.

Agreed, but my point was they wouldn't all be played in the same set.
