And requests have been made for "While You See A Chance" and "Watching The Wheels" ::)
On the other hand, there is support for "The Stroke". :o

I think I may *have* a stroke if she plays that. I was not connected last nite so my '81 wish-list will remain unsullied. or something.

Sheesh, I thought yesterday's set started late. 10@10:10? WTFF?
Does this mean DC is attracting too many advertisers?
ETA: it's running live over-the-air but the stream is f---ed up.

Booooooooo!
All ads, all the time! The World Famous KFOG Ad Channel!
KFOG is really on the verge of jumping the shark. I can hardly listen to it outside 10at10 anymore.

I think this happened once before. Someone forgot to throw a switch or something.

also Depeche Mode and "Start Me Up" have been played. Nothing Earth-shattering but still...
DAMN! Grace Jones!!! BOS in absentia.

Funny, but I just noticed... :-[ been programming with great concentration, I guess. Switched to radio, Grace BOS.

VHM, J. Geils and "Freeze Frame", because it aint "Centerfold".
-
"Freeze Frame" -- not sorry I'm missing that. But FB Fogheads feel differently.
-
I finally switched back to 2NG.
-
HM, The GoGo's, "Our Lips Are Sealed".
-
Um, the Goat, singing some song with someone, sorry but my brain only contains so much trivia.

ETA: worse yet: "Leather & Lace" with Henley.
-
BOS2, The Clash, um, not sure on the song title.
-
Good Lord: "Magnificent Seven" for the 3 billionth time--sorry, but I'm glad I missed this set.

It wasn't that bad (the Goat thing is just amusing). Kinda pretty, really. But I needed a rr break during it, and found myself humming "Landslide" on the way back to my desk, so she was basically ripping herself off at this point.

10/27/11 -Thursday! Just Can't Get Enough of 1981
1. Depech Mode-Just Can't Get Enough
2. The Cure- Primary
(News: Sandra Day O'Connor)
3. The Cars- Shake It Up
4. Rick James- Give It To Me Baby
(Movie: Stripes)
5. Rolling Stones- Start Me Up
(Movie: Mommie Dearest)
6. Grace Jones- Pull Up To The Bumper
7. J.Geils Band- Freeze-Frame
8. Go Go's- Our Lips Are Sealed
(Movie: American Werewolf in Paris)
9. Stevie Nicks- Leather and Lace (B.O.S-Tie)
(TV:Tom Snyder and The Clash)
10. The Clash- The Magnificent Seven (B.O.S-Tie)
Sorry, but I'm not upset that I missed this one... not a bustout in the bunch afaik (correct me if I'm wrong), tho' a number of 2nd or 3rd appearances in the AL era (Grace J, DM, the Cure, Rick J). Given how long the request thread was, that's just sad IMHO. And "Mag 7" in it's millionth appearance is really beyond the pale -- it's a 3-LP set, folks.

A bit of a stretch calling Lisa Loeb a "superstar", no? :P

Extended 12" of my joke from the big board:
Reagan's favorite album of '81 was Contra! (and his favorite song was Someone Saved My Life Tonight, or at least it should have been)
