sorry I missed Mother Earth's "Down So Low" and the Move's "Blackberry Way"; otherwise fairly standard '69-ing. Doors, Sly, CCR, Spirit, Zep, Beatles. VHM Bubble Puupy, making this one go to 11.

Missed a good set from Rob: "Stop Yer Sobbin", "A Certain Girl" (Zevon), EC's "I can't Stand Up...", Ms Ronstadt's "How Do I make You", Willie Nile's "Vagabond Moon" (a serious rarity if not a bustout), Selecter's "On My Radio" (def a bustout) and Squeeze with their cocoa mugs sitting side-by-side.

Alice in Chains in a Crowded House, "Ignore"-ing Morrissey while eating Pearl Jam. It's Nirvana, I tell ya!
And Peter Frampton's "Day in the Sun" semi-comeback is followed by Enigma's "Return to Innocence". Hard to believe Cake's "Rock'n'Roll Lifestyle" is 17 years old. BOS, but that's scary.

I arrive early for an early-'70s treat. EJ dances, Hot Tuna keeps truckin, and Yes go round and about.
Proxy of GazWOS: JJ Cale and his cwazy mama. Meanwhile, Carlos the hose has no one to depend on. No tengo a nadie! Or whatever he's saying.
Rob's playin' the hits: Neil comes up hearts, America likes horses, and Rev Al stays togetha. Quite the mainstream affair here. Are KFOG and The Peak sharing a PD?
Finally a BOS and proxy of geoff: ABB, "One way Out". And we climax with Nilsson's "Without You" -- I'm guessing maybe it was #1 on this date?

yeesh, '89 twice in one week. Moreyesque so far: the 'mats, Chris Rea, EC's "Veronica", Wilburys, Indigos, XTC, Orbison and even -- sheesh -- Cowboy Junkies' "Narcoleptic Jane" and FYC's "She Drives Me Crazy". Not an obscurity in the bunch.
Finally: VHM the Fixx, "Driven Out", the only one of these I haven't heard a billion times.
