I have pretty much stopped listening to Peak and Drive 10@10s; the former makes some interesting late-'70s noises but they've both lost their ability to surprise.

The Peak *has* become less interesting; glad it's not just me.  And the Drive and the Sound (same owners) are clearly pulling from the same database of songs.

there's just too much gosh-darn radio to listen to!  I'd be really curious to see a breakdown of what the members here listen to.  What station, how long, and during what times.  Whether it's online, over-the-air, whatever.

There's probably an online survey site that could be used for this, like maybe Surveymonkey?  I'll look into it.

From 7:30-10, I bounce around between 'LNG and Radio de Sebb, except Tues morning when JJ's on KPOO. (the players The Peak, the Sound and the Drive use are un-usable on my work PC; Offshore -- once a staple for me-- also doesn't work any more) After 10@10, back to 'LNG or RdS,  with sidetrips to Little Steven's podcast, maybe Vin Scelsa or Radio DeLuxe.

Thur 9/23/10: 1966!

Supremes - Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart
Byrds - Eight Miles High
Paul Revere - Kicks
Simon & Garfunkel - Scarborough Fair/Canticle
Mamas & Papas - California Dreaming
Rolling Stones - Under My Thumb
Association - Along Comes Mary
Cream - I Feel Free
Jr. Walker & All-Stars - Money
Neil Diamond - Cherry, Cherry

That Jr Walker cover of "Money" is quite the rarity (only got to #52 Pop) and an ATBB.  Can't help but wonder if Bob meant to play "Roadrunner" and cued up the wrong track.

Or else he was making commentary on Chicago politics.
