I was amazed to hear -- maybe on The Band's recent Top 103 rock album countdown? -- that AC/DC's Back In Black is the second best-selling album of all time. From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back_in_Black
Selling over 22 million copies in the United States and 49 million copies worldwide, it is the highest selling album by any band and the highest selling hard rock album of all time; taking second place for highest selling album, it was only beaten out by Michael Jackson's "Thriller".
