Monday was a 1989 snoozer, but today it's 1969 -- some usual suspects (Stones, CSN, "Lay lady Lay") but kudos on an early Yes Beatles cover, "Every Little Thing".
-
Wed 7/28/10: 1981
nice stuff: BOSes to Gary US Bonds, Ramones ("It's Not My Place in the 9-to-5 World") and the Specials ("Ghost Town"). Proxy of shray to what was an AL bustout a while back, Mission of Burma's "That's When I Reach For My Gun".
-
Thur 7/729/10: 1993? '94?
Seal, "Prayer for the Dying"; Soundgarden "Black Hole Sun", Lisa Loeb, "Stay", Hootie, "Hold My hand" ... nothing I need to catch on the replay.

Fri 7/30/10: 1977
gonna be a tough choice tonite at 7:00 replay time... Rob busts out Mink DeVille, the Stranglers ("Peaches") and rare J.Geils ("Surrender").
ETA: another rarity: the Dead's "Samson & Delilah". And Rob closed (everso tastefully) with the Pistols' "Pretty Vay-CUNT".

OK, over to the Peak in time for Mink DeVille's sublime "Mixed Up Shook Up Girl".
ETA: as if this set weren't wonderful enuf just musically... Rob plays the classic Nat'l Lampoon bit with Harry Shearer as Mister Rogers and Bill Murray as a hungover black bass player. "Wouldya like to go to the magic kingdom?" But jeezus: WOS the disco Dead's "Samson & Delilah"
