Rick Springfield -Love Somebody

'80 redux: Rob's set was better, but I'd love it if AL played Irene Cara or the Whispers next time this year comes up.

Irene Cara -Fame
Eagles -The Long Run
Dan Fogelberg -Longer
Ozzy Osbourne -Crazy Train
Pretenders -Brass In Pocket (I'm Special)
Whispers -And The Beat Goes On
Vapors -Turning Japanese
Air Supply -Lost In Love
Blondie -Call Me

Thur 5/20/10: 1971

Stevie Wonder -If You Really Love Me
Who -Won't Get Fooled Again
John Lennon -Imagine
Rare Earth -I Just Want To Celebrate
Doors -Love Her Madly
Lynn Anderson -Rose Garden
Janis Joplin -Me And Bobby McGee
Marvin Gaye -What's Going On
Three Dog Night -Joy To the World

the pop-oriented flip side of what AL did yesterday.  I'd love it if she'd play "Rose Garden", and it wouldn't surprise me if she did.

That was one of the songs I requested for yesterday's set, but given the album-rock direction she took it, I can see why it wasn't selected. But yes, I could completely see her throwing that into a more Top 40-oriented set from '71 someday. Ray Price's For the Good Times would work too, although it's more of a slow weeper.

DUDE! I didn't realize you had asked for it. Great minds, etc. Gotta also request some late-'80s kd lang country stuff.

Didn't she play Achy Breaky Heart once, or am I deluding myself?

Dave played it in one of his last HFH sets.
