Title: OT: Carlos Santana & Los Lonely Boys
Post by: speedygonzales on June 03, 2005, 09:14:43 PM
Just came back about an hour ago (It's Saturday morning here on the east Coast).  Saw Carlos & Los Lonely Boys at Chastain Park Amphitheater here in Atlanta.   Carlos rocks.  Los Lonely Boys joined him on-stage and did some John Lee Hooker.

They played some old songs (Oye Como Va, Black Magic Woman, I Can't get no one that I can depend on) & a lot of new ones from Supernatural (Smooth, Corazon).

Not too familiar with Los Lonely Boys (only recognized one of their songs).

Sounds like a great show.  Seen Santana many times, back in the 70s and 80s.  I bought myself the Los Lonely Boys DVD for my birthday -- they're not so bad neither.  I'm sure the song you recognized was their big hit "Heaven."
