That does it--I'm here for the duration. (Been bouncing back and forth for the last two songs.)

This would be a bustout on the KFOG side--outside of Long Dark Road and Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress) Dave was strangely lacking in his Hollies airplay.

Larry's not really straying from the charts at all, but tastefully so. Well bowled.

yeah, he never does, AFAIK.   pretty mainstream stuff in general.

"Well bowled."   that's a good one!  Referring to a steady effort that never strays from the muscle memory of the game ten pins or the game of corporate radio.

Is this Coverdale on vocals? Certainly not Ian Gillan.

Surprised Larry went for Barry White instead of Harold Melvin & the Bluenotes, given Teddy's passing yesterday. "The Love I Lost" would probably qualify in '74. It entered the charts in Oct of '73

yeah, I was just thinking that Barry was stealing some of Teddy's thunder in this set.  Swing and a miss for Larry...?   :-\

Yep, I enjoyed most of ELO's records up thru Face the Music. After that they seemed to become less a band and more a Jeff Lynne dictatorship.

Larry just said "Burn" was from Machine Head--I think not!!!

(Very 70s album cover, btw.)
