So far we've had:
1. Elvis Costello: Alison
2. Warren Zevon Lawyers, Guns And Money
3. Stevie Wonder: Living For The City
I think I know what the theme is...

Well, they've got a crime thing going there...

Hmmm, Lisa Loeb's "Stay" is supposed to give it away, but I'm not getting it yet.
-
omg, I got it.

Dang, I tried not to see, but when I replied to your message I saw the URL. Oh well, well-done for you, and a funny theme.
I made the rather obvious mistake of focusing on the songs. And I see why Lisa Loeb should have given it away ;D

Definitely! I like this game, but I'm not thinking of anything...
How about Thomas Dolby?

I'm telling you now Larry's not gonna play them.

I'm betting on Ray Charles now.

I vote for the Young Fresh Fellows:

Heeeeere's Buddeeeee!
I bought a used CD from Rasputin, forget which, and when I opened it up, it contained a Buddy Holly CD as well. The owner obviously forgot to take it out.
Score!
-
John Kay of Steppenwolf is a pretty famous sunglass dude.
Doh! Of course it's Reg.

reminds me of They Might Be Giants. One of the John's -- John Flansburgh -- wears specs, too.
AND they have a song, called Twisting, which mentions the Young Fresh Fellows
-
Ah, and let's not forget Ian Hunter.

He announced it: He said some people were falling all over themselves trying to come up with some esoteric connection ("is it unfulfilled love?") but it turns out the theme was simpler than that. I'm sure he's prepared to absorb SoundHead abuse over this, but he's used to it... :)

Well, serious kudos to him for having done it. We really should lobby AL to try it sometime ("think of it as 'My Ten Songs'" would be the obvious pitch).
