Stones are TOTHK in both SF and LA today, but I Ain't To Proud To Beg ... for a LIVE 10@10 set, so I'll be here.

Come And Get Your Love  by  Redbone

Love it ->  BOS!

...then a clip about another Nobel Peace Prize Weiner: Yassir Arafat, who comes to the UN "with an olive branch in once hand and a pistol in the other."

Larry then plays Steve Miller's The Joker.  nyuk nyuk!

I'll buy that.  1974 just as good as 1972.

so what's KFOG doing? I'm sticking with KPOO's Thursday morning Soul show, since AL's "classics" are all recent enuf that I'm not really desperate to hear any of 'em.

I looked back at some of Larry's sets.  I like this one:

10/09 - Saxxy

Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood
Young Americans - David Bowie
Shotgun - Jr. Walker & The All-Stars
Urgent - Foreigner
Harden My Heart - Quaterflash
Money - Pink Floyd
Buena - Morphine
What You Need - INXS
Baker STreet - Gerry Rafferty
Jungleland - Bruce Springsteen

Very excited about Buena by Morphine.  Great stuff I've only heard on RadioParadise.

1972 which looks good, but yeah, we've heard it recently.  BOS for the full Monty "Sweet Jane".

BOS2: Any Major Dude

Steely Dan tix are pretty steep from what I understand.  If I can't win any from KFOG, I just might head down there with a respectable amount of cash one night to see if I can get one out front

Oh yes.  We have floor seats in row M for $150 each.  Ouch.  The seats near the front are over $200.  Even the balcony (front) is over $100.

Elton's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me always sounds nice.

Don't dis-GARD me!

wow, gasoline hit 70 cents a gallon during the energy crisis of 74. Time to get out that Schwinn or look at one of those new Japanese cars.

Mystery theme tomorrow.  I think I'll tune in for that.  Always fun to guess.

Meaning, a mystery year? Or an actual mystery *theme*? (aka "My Ten Songs")  KINK in Portland used to do those regularly, it was a very cool concept.

He said "mystery theme", so I'm assuming My 10 Songs.
