Title: The Peak, 8/3/09: 1977
Post by: Tinka Cat on August 03, 2009, 07:13:29 AM
David Berkowitz is arrested, VW stops domestic production of the Beetle and replaces it with the Rabbit, Elvis dies

 For The One
by Yes certainly is prog rock, dude, but Steve Howe seems to be channeling southern rock at times, esp the opening twangy riff.

Bob Marley says Everything's Going To Be All Right.  sure, if you're stoned

... then Dean Friedman messes with Ariel's vegetarian vertical hold.  This was a big hit this sumer, as Casey told us on his show.

Happy Belated Jerry Day, dudes!  His blorpy-bloppy guitar work on Estimated Prophet is the sound of one hippie twirl dancing in a circle.
